Fiber Color Range
Most people know indigo as the classic blue jeans blue. The depth of shade you can acheive is determined by the number of times your fiber is dipped in your dye vat. A lovely turquoise can be obtained on wool or silk using a fresh ice extraction method.
Our farm-grown indigo in liquid paste form. The pigment is extracted from plants and suspended in a small amount of distilled water, making it easier to use when preparing your vat.
Pigment net weight 100 grams (3.5 ounces). Use 25 grams per 250 grams (approx. 1/2 pound) of fiber for medium blue shades.
